The safari gives you a chance to explore the fresh waters of Lake Victoria one of the African Great Lakes. With a surface area of approximately 59,947 km², Lake Victoria is Africa’s largest lake by area, the world’s largest tropical lake, and the world’s second-largest fresh water lake by surface area after Lake Superior in North America. you will visit Buvuma, Koome and Kalangala islands

Day 1: Transfer to Jinja. You will be dropped at the source of the Nile and then proceed to Buvuma Island

Day 2: Buvuma Island tour

Itinerary

Day 1 KAMPALA - JINJA - BUVUMA ISLAND

After breakfast you will be transferred to Jinja at the Source of the Nile. On Arrival you will be transferred to Buvuma Island

Day 2BUVUMA ISLAND

You will have an island tour. Buvuma Island is a group of 52 islands. the people are known as Bavuma who are a Baganda tribe segment and one of Buganda Kingdom counties (Masaza). The Bavuma have rich culture in food, cultural dance and very interesting home. You will interact with the local community. Enjoy a locally made meal, have an aerial view of the Island. you will be able to see how the early Buvuma Islanders Black smiths who were making spears, knives and arrows

Day 3TRANSFER TO KOOME ISLAND

You will transfer to Koome Island. While you will visit Bulago island for relaxation. The scenic beauty is breathtaking. You may sun bathe, or swim in clear blue water

Day 4CHIMPANZEE VIEWING IN THE NGAMBA CHIMPANZEE SANCTUARY

You will leave for Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The island is a home to orphaned chimpanzees. They are brought here to be rehabilitated. They are put in the natural environment. You will view them as they feed

Day 5TRANSFER TO SSESSE ISLANDS

Early morning transfer to Ssesse islands which is famed for its white sands. The tropical forests alog the shores add to the beauty of the Island

Day 6SSESSE ISLANDS

You will have a boat ride, Swim in the lake, You may have a nature walk. You will enjoy fresh deep fried fish

Day 7EQUATOR FLOAT AND RETURN TO ENTEBBE

You will have a sunset cruise to the Equator that is found in the lake. You will transfer back to the Entebbe pier as you enjoy the sun goes down
